I worked a bit on its body, it has still a strange bend in its back, but I 've to make the frontlegs first, then I have to make the wings and the finally I can add the fur and look at the hind legs to make them all fit right together...

thank you, I think it is the difference in clay, normally, nowadays, I sculpt with air drying and this is with scupley...
It suits moren for textures like this..

yes that's true, is much easyer to bring the texture on....

yup, but sometimes it is so brittle especially when I'm working small or thin... I hate that, so much work and then it is breaking apart...

Tja, dat kan altijd lol, al denk ik het niet, met de staart krijg je alles mooi in balans.
Ik vind hem gewoon een hele erg fiere en plechtstatige houding hebben. Mooi hoe je deze hebt neergezet, ben benieuwd naar de verdere stappen.

het was wel de bedoeling dat hij een statige, fiere houding zou krijgen.... We zullen zien...

I love how this is coming along! I rather like the exaggerated curve in the back, adds character!
You can try a softner to the sculpey to help prevent cracking too and warm the clay up too. Nothing worse than making something perfectly and it breaks!!
Keep up the great work! Love it!
